I am researching my paternal family tree and am stuck in 1846. Samuel Charles WILLIS married Rosetta Burrell YATES in 1846. We know that Samuel's father was deceased and named John Benfield Willis (corn merchant). We have no other information or dates or marriage—has anyone any info.? Samuel was also said to have been a comedian and theatre agent—any ideas where to look for information regarding his career.
