I am interested in the HAND name as my grandmother was a Hand from Co. Roscommon Ireland. I am wondering if Hand is English and if there is any knowledge of the name going to Ireland from England. I gather there is a possibility that some Celtic names ended up as Hand in Ireland. I would be interested in learning more.
