I am interested in finding info about an Emily CLIMPSON who had brothers Joseph, James William, and a sister Mary. In
1890 she was employed with "Barratts Confectionery Works", Wood Green, N. She lodged with Mrs. Murphy at 23, Cornwall Road, West green, Tottenham,
Eng.
Her sister was married to Joseph Hatchett a bricklayer and lived in Chesham, Bucks. Joseph Climpson was a navvy on the railway lived in Rickmansworth Herts, James Climpson was a Postman in Amersham, Bucks, William
Climpson was a gardener and lived in Chalfont St. Giles Bucks. Their approx ages in 1890 were as follows Emily 22yrs Mary Hatchett (Climpson) 34 yrs Joseph 31yrs, James 26 yrs and William 20 yrs.
I believe their parents names were John and Fanny. John from Chartridge and Fanny from Amersham but not sure.
Emily's son was my grandfather, he came to Canada from Barnardos Orphange in 1901 and has been searching for his family since then. I am carrying on the search.
