George PAYNE is my great-grandfather who was born in Bethnal Green around 1845; like my grandfather, Alfred Hiram Payne, he was a cabinet maker. He married Mary Ann DOVE. The Payne
family lived in the Bethnal Green / Mile End / St. George [Tower Hamlets] in the East area for many decades.
I am interested in any possible links.
