LEFEVRE / LEFEVER /LE FEVRE.
I have been researching this branch of my family for some time now and although I have traced my GrGrGrandfather Edward/Edmund Lefevre's life
with his 3 wives and at last count 15 children I still have never found his death record or his birth record.
Born in Portsmouth in app; 1800 the son of Thomas a silk weaver Edward
was married for the first time in 1825 at Manchester Cathedral to Charlotte ANDERSON.
After the birth of John Thomas 1826 Manchester and Charlotte 1828 in
Hampshire Edward and his family moved to London where Charlotte had 2
more sons. After Charlotte's death in 1838 we next find Edward on the 1841
census living with a new wife Mary Ann GRUBB.
Mary Ann's death in 1853 after the birth of several more children found
Edward with a third wife. Elizabeth Sarah HORNE who among her many
children produced my Great Grandmother Sarah Eleanor LEFEVRE born in 1858.
Sarah married my Great Grandfather John PARSONS in Lambeth, Surrey, 1882.
