I am trying to trace my grandfather's family.
My grandfather was Frederick EDWARDS, born c.1879, he came to Canada at the start of the 1900's. His father was Edward H Edwards (known as Henry), his mother was Annie TYDEMAN. Annie died giving birth to Sydney and there was also a brother Ernest. Henry married again to Sarah ( Faulkner?) and they had a son Reg. Their address was 85, Netherwood St., London and Henry was a booking clerk Metrop Ry (railway?)on the 1881 census.
Henry's parents were William and Martha Edwards and he had a sister Harriet listed on the 1881 census. Their address was 3, Charles St., London. William is listed as a Whitesmith.
Annie's parents were Stephen and Sarah A Tydeman and 3 sisters are listed on the 1881 census. Mary (19); dressmaker, Emma (17) pupil teacher, and Elizabeth (14). What became of them? Their address was 52, Rosaville Rd., London and Stephen is listed as a Butler (Dom).
I hope to hear from someone who can help.
