I was adopted in 1953, my parents were Richard John POPE,and my mother was Agnes Steele LAING—at this time they lived in Hove, East Sussex. I found my mother, sister Patricia, and brother Anthony several years ago, but my father had died ten years previously. I didnt get to know much about my father, only that he was a Geordie, and possibly came from Ryton, i know he had several brothers, and that they emmigrated some time ago to Canada. My father had been married before he met my mother and has a son, he was apparently divorced, but didnt marry my mother, also my fathers mother died during childbirth, and i believe my father left home when he was 14 years old, and went to London. If anyone knows of my father or his family, I would love to make contact.
