I am searching for Isaac FRETWELL, he was in the 2nd Lifeguards at Pimlico, and then went on to be a Police Sergeant at Brentford, Middlesex.
I cannot find his birth or his marriage. He joined the 2nd Lifeguards in Chesterfield and said he was born near Sheffield, Derbyshire. He also says he was an Edgetool maker at Eckington. He went to Windsor where the Regiment Museum is. His first child Charles FRETWELL was born there 1829.
Isaac Fretwell married Mary Ann FARRINGTON of Buckinghamshire. As I say I cannot locate the marriage.
I have found death for Isaac in 1846, it then appears that Mary Ann married John FRETWELL, born 1822, Sheffield, who lived at Rosebank, Wantstead, London.
