I am interested in the Wake family, particularly (1) Robert Wake c. 1676-1757, vicar of Chilfrom and Wraxall in Dorset; his son (2) Basil Wake 1720-1800, apothecary of Bath; his son (3) William Robert Wake, 1756-1830, vicar of Backwell in Somerst 1787-1830, rector of Great Bromley in Essex 1801-1806, curate at Baidstone 1812-1814, and [what?] at St Albans, Wood Street, London, 1825 to 1826; and any of his children including William Basil Wake 1803-1873 who was convicted of theft in 1829 and transported to Australia.
