Decended fom Thomas Wall b: Preston, England
D: Dorchester County Maryland 1701.
His son Joshua Wall who ventured into Currituck Co., N.C. then his son Henry who went into Dinwiddie Co., Va.
and settled .. the Wall family was in Surry Co., Mecklenburg Co., Halifax County and Dinwiddie for 60-70 years before Major Wall B: 1785 Halifax Co., and His father Joshua Wall 11 ventured into Lincoln County, Tenn.
Have you run into this line in your research? From your posting it seems this may be two different line's of Wall.
Our line usually ( not always) was listed as Wall instead of WALLS—Any information appreciated.
