I am looking for the birth of Mary Adelaide GEARING, London/Southwark around 1871. She married Thomas Joseph DICKESON at St. Saviours in 1894, and died in Peckham in 1954. I believe she had at least two sisters, 'Em' who was killed, with her husband, in a bombing raid in 1940, and Jessie, who may have lived on a barge in the Medway area around the 1920's. her father was named as John GEARING decd on her marriage certificate and was a painter. Her mother's name may have been Ann. John Gearing may not have been her natural father, and I can find no trace of her in the GRO Birth Index.
Any clues would be helpful, if only to rule something out
