My Great-Great-Uncles James WAKEFORD and W. WAKEFORD were pupils at Greenwich Hospital School in the 1881 Census. Their mother was Amelia WAKEFORD of Gosport Hants. She was listed as a widow in 1881. James born 29th Feb, 1864, became head Teacher of Greenwich Naval School. W. died on HMS Victoria 1893. The ship sank in Portsmouth Harbour. Is there any information about these two men in the records? Father was George Wakeford a Marine.
