I am looking for the grave of a Mr. John Udny or Udney. He died at his home on Clarges Street, London, on the 15th of January, 1800, aged 73.
His death was reported in the Times on the 16th of January 1800. He was the British Consul to Leghorn in Italy, and returned to London in 1790.

As he was well known by Diplomats and the Aristocracy, Lord's Nelson, St. Vincent, Hamilton and Jervis, it is assumed he would have had a pompous funeral and possibly a family crypt.

Although I have his date, place of birth and death date, I do NOT have the name, birth/death date of his wife. It is my hope that his wife is buried with him.

Any further information much appreciated.
