I am seeking the origins of three families all living in the Kennington, Southwark, Bermondsey area of south London during the first half of the 19th Century.
Their surnames are: HAVIS, POAGUE / POGUE and BARD.
On various certificates from the GRO I have witnesses to marriages etc, such as ROOTS, WILLIAMS and HAZELGROVE.
I would be very grateful for suggestions to finding out more about them including the records of The London Portmanteau and Trunk Makers Society.
