No. 2 Henrietta Place, in the parish of St Peters, Hammersmith, Middlesex. In 1886 my Gt. Grandfather married Alice Jane Catherine RICE. Both showed their address as above. There is no trace of my Gt. G'f. Walter James GAISH prior to this or any trace of his father William ie, birth death or marriage.
The previous occupants of this address were Gaish's their surname was misspelt on 1881 census as Guish. Did my Gt Grandad adopt that surname after he moved in? Both he and Alice were illiterate.
Please help, anyone out their with records of Henrietta Place tenants?
