Robert Canham was born about 1829 in England; he married to Minerva Meredith abt. 1857; their first child was Charles Canham born abt. 1859 in Alameda, California, USA. This Robert Canham might be the Robert Canham born 26 Mar 1833 in London, England, and christened 2 Jun 1839 in St. Katherine Coleman, London, England, to parents Robert Canham and Hannah (Disbrow?) who had several children. I would like to prove (or disprove) this Robert being my Robert who came through the Great Lakes area (Ontario, Canada, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, New York areas) to California in 1859 or before. Can anyone help me?
