My wife is a direct descandant of a George SANSOM and Mary WEST. George was born in Buckinghamshire England in 1803
and migrated to Australia in 1844 on the "Templar". His parents were John and Dinah. Johns Parents were John and Alice TIMMS. They married in
1743, John was born the same year and Alice died at his birth. George and Mary settled in the Williamtown, NSW district and descandants still live there.
I wonder if they are related to the George Sansom sent out as a convict to Tasmania.
