I'm trying to do my GAY family history and I'm just coming to a dead end everytime!! Can anyone help me! My Grandad was called George Lewis Gay born 19/01/1916 at Hammersmith.
I know he worked on the Smithfield Meat Market, he was also the landlord (we think) of the Hope & Anchor Pub in Islington and the Captain Cook Pub in Stoke Newington??
He had a sister called Dorris & a step brother called Ronald Gay, his father was called George William Gay.
